How much are fines and fees?

We are fine-free for all materials owned by the Cleveland Public Library. However, Library users are still responsible for fees associated with the replacement of lost or damaged books and other materials that they check out. There are also fees to use some of our equipment, services and facilities. Additionally, items borrowed from other libraries within the CLEVNET system are subject to the policies of the owning library.

Fees for Materials and Services, including replacement prices; passport applications; Interlibrary Loan; self-service copying, printing and scanning; photography on library property; and miscellaneous items.

Fees for Photoduplication and MakerSpaces, including printing and scanning done by staff; 3D printing; laser engraver, etc.

Fees for Meeting Room, Auditorium, and Facility Use, including branch meeting rooms; Learning Commons; Eastman Reading Garden; and other spaces before, during, and after Library hours.
