Why is my library card expired?
Cleveland Public Library cards expire every two years so that we can verify your contact information. If it has been more than seven years since you've renewed your card, it may no longer be in our database and you will have to apply for a new card.
To renew your card, please present proof of your current address and ID the next time you visit the library.
Due to the Library's temporary closure related to COVID-19, you can also renew your privileges online.
Click here to renew your card online. **Please note - using the online link will renew your card for one year, and can only be used if your card is already expired.
