Why is my library card expired?

Cleveland Public Library cards expire every two years so that we can verify your contact information. If it has been more than seven years since you've renewed your card, it may no longer be in our database and you will have to apply for a new card.

To renew your card, please present proof of your current address and ID the next time you visit the library. If your card has already expired, renew your card online.  *Using the online link will renew your card for one year.
